Superhero Kids Launches in Two Weeks!

Superhero Kids by Micaela Myers and illustrated by Leslie Lumeh arrives in two weeks!

Twenty-one real young people. Fourteen states. Nineteen true stories of kids who noticed a problem close to home and decided to do something about it: gentling a wild mustang, raising $370,000 for rare-disease research one batch of cookies at a time, building an app so deaf people know when an alarm is going off.

And at the end, the book turns to the reader with one question: What would your project be?

Superhero Kids, written by Micaela Myers and illustrated by Leslie Lumeh, is coming in two weeks!

Looking for more stories of kids who make a difference?

Inspire the World by Sammie and Heidi Vance tells how one eight-year-old’s simple idea, that no child should have to sit alone, grew into the Buddy Bench Project: more than 750 benches built from more than 13 million recycled bottle caps. It’s a perfect companion for younger readers, ages 8 to 12, and it’s available now.

For readers who love poetry

Here and Elsewhere by Sandra McGarry moves from an East Coast childhood to the Colorado mountains, finding beauty in ordinary things: a screen door, a whistling kettle, a puddle, photographs found in a shoebox.
