Teresa Price

Teresa Price is a speech-language pathologist and author who resides in the beautiful countryside of northeastern Kansas with her fabulous family of four. She loves written language and semantics and trying to find the right word or word combinations to come together in a pleasing and meaningful way on a page. She has always enjoyed writing poems and stories, with an extra special fondness for a “sweet little poem with rhythm and rhyme.” She has recently shared this love on a broader scale by independently publishing her first (rhythmic and rhyming) picture books– Here’s to the Fall!, Here’s to the Winter!, Here’s to the Spring!, and Here’s to the Summer!.

Along her gratifying journey with the “mighty” pen, she also had work featured in online literary journals, including Foliate Oak, gravel, and The Voices Project. Her chosen career path and greatest life pursuit in general has focused on fostering the growth and development of her “students” – especially her own two children. Writing for this (endearing and very important) audience is another wonderfully rewarding means to that end!

She is honored to have her work be a part of Ardea Herodias Books. Her family is always thrilled to catch sight of the majestic Ardea Herodias (Great Blue Herons) that visit the water sources near their home. Teresa is inspired by these encounters and equally moved by the mission of this children’s book imprint.

Ardea Herodias Books is excited to publish Teresa’s latest children’s book, The Green Ball, to be released in March of 2027.
