Meet Sammie Vance, the young author behind Inspire the World: A Kid’s Journey to Making a Difference, at a book signing celebrating the new edition of her book.

When Sammie was eight, she noticed kids sitting alone at recess and decided to do something about it. She started collecting plastic bottle caps to build a Buddy Bench for her school. Nine years later, her project has placed more than 750 benches around the world and recycled over 13 million caps. Her book tells that story and shows kids how to make a difference in their own way, no matter how small.

Sammie will sign copies of the new edition, available in paperback and hardcover. Families, teachers, and young changemakers of all ages are welcome.
