Calls for Submissions
Panhandle Creek Press is now open for unsolicited submissions. We are looking for outstanding novels, memoir, creative nonfiction, as well as story, essay, and poetry collections.
Ardea Herodias Books is now open for unsolicited submissions.
- We are looking for outstanding Middle Grade and Young Adult novels, memoir, creative nonfiction, as well as story, essay, and children’s poetry collections.
- We are looking for children’s picture books. In particular, we are looking for children’s picture books that fit into our “Collected Wisdom” series. These will be stories that pass wisdom from one generation to the next told by authors within diverse cultures and traditions from all over the globe.
With your submission, be sure to include:
- A cover letter that includes the author’s name, contact information, and a brief synopsis of the work. Also, please include the author’s background, publication credits, and a statement explaining how the work fits the Panhandle Creek Press Mission.
- Writers should submit the full manuscript in .doc or .docx format. All manuscripts should include page numbers on every page.
Please expect a response time of three to twelve months. We will do our best to respond as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience.
